  The Project: 1. To write a 1 page biography of a famous thinker or innovator. 2. To draw the main features of the brain and describe its function.
• Indonesia and Caritas
  The Project: To find out about Caritas and the work that the organisation has done to help those affected by poverty or natural disasters in Indonesia.
• Hamilton - The best place to live?(Speech)
  The Project: How do you feel about living in Hamilton? When people come to stay, do you get out and about, proudly showing off your city and having a great time? Does your family take advantage of all that there is to do here? What about you and your friends? Hamilton is a fast growing exciting place!!You don't believe me? You will be involved in finding out about the city you live in and all it has to offer.
• Hamilton, Our City, Our Place (inquiry learning)
  The Project: A child your age, perhaps your cousin from overseas, has been on the internet. They have noticed that Hamilton is described as a boring place to live. You can't believe it. How can you convince them otherwise.
• Astronomy for little stars
  The Project: The Carter Observatory has created an interactive course for students year 5-8. It is based on learning about the concepts of astronomy, matter, time, planets, galaxies and so on. Usually there is a cost for students to do this but Waikato schools have access to it for free for a short time. You will read and answer questions at the site. Your answers will be marked on line.
