I’ve been privileged to be part of the Marian School family since 2010, teaching New Entrants to Year 4.

I hold a B.Ed. (Early Years). I chose this specific qualification as I love working with junior children. Having worked in the Early Childhood sector, I understand how children learn through play before their fifth birthday. My role is to ensure that children continue to grow and learn as they navigate the early years of their primary school journey.

I believe that teaching is about relationships, so I value children as individuals who embody a range of cultures, talents, interests and learning styles. Developing and maintaining respectful, positive relationships is paramount. I strive to promote a welcoming and inclusive learning environment that celebrates diversity.

I love seeing happy smiling faces come through the door every morning!

I am married to Basil and have 3 adult sons whom I am extremely proud of. I enjoy cooking, gardening and reading. My favourite colour is yellow, which makes me happy and fills me with energy and optimism.
